The sensitivity setting will remain illuminated on the right side of the display with two segment bars indicating a sensitivity of 3/4.
Adjusting Sensitivity:
To change the depth range of the detector and thus the sensitivity use the DEPTH SELECT touchpad. each touch of the DEPTH SELECT touchpad toggles the detector among three preset settings. The detector is at maximum depth capability when all three depth segments are illuminated.
Besides depth range the DEPTH SELECTION touchpad is used to eliminate Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). EMI can be caused by power lines, motors and household appliances.
If your detector beeps erratically reduce the sensitivity by using the DEPTH SELECT Contro.
Target Identification:
The four categories depicted across the top of the display indicates the probable identification of detected objects. These four categories represent objects commonly found while metal detecting.
