Bounty Hunter Tracker IV Review Demonstration and How To Operate

The worlds number 1 best selling hobby metal detector, the Bounty Hunter TK4 Tracker IV Metal Detector

The Tracker IV has 3 modes DISC, ALL METAL and TONE.

DISC Mode- depending on where the disc is set, the Tracker IV will incrementally single out and knock out  different metals from detection, this is done in a linear fashion from Iron-zinc Copper pennies, dimes and quarters cannot be discriminated out.

ALL METAL- All types of metal will be detected gold, silver, platinum, Iron, copper brass etc. In ALL METAL all targets are assigned a high tone weather it's a ferrous target or silver.

TONE DISCRIMINATE- This is a dual tone response with automatic iron rejection. In this mode the Tracker IV can be set to  respond with a low tone or grunt for nickels and a high tone for all other coins.

My preferred coin and jewelry shooting settings are:

Tone Mode with the discrimination set at approximately the 12:00 position. The way you set your sensitivity is to run it all the way to the right maxed out, then back it down to the left to the point where the machine stabilizes.

With the Tracker IV set in this manner you will be running this machine as "hot" as possible for the area you are hunting in and in manner where the Tracker IV will reject junk iron targets, assign a low grunt to gold and nickels and a high tone to other coins and silver jewelry.
